Cologne, Chocolate, and a Cathedral

Hi everyone,
I am having troubles with my wifi so I am writing from a computer in the hotel we are staying at in Fussen, Germany. It is a lovely town and we arrived here today after taking many different trains. Yesterday was quite an adventure. We decided to take the train all the way to the end of the Rhine to a city called Cologne (Koln). As we stepped off the train we saw the worlds third largest cathedral. It was breathtaking. We toured through the church and saw gorgeous architecture, stain glass windows and paintings. I had the chance to light a candle and pray for Japan. It is very difficult to describe, but I took manz pictures and will show you all when I return. While in Cologne, we also went on a tour of the Lindt Chocolate Museum. A funny little train took us from the church to the museum and back. In the museum we saw how chocolate was made, and tasted some delicious samples! Definitely a fun experience. On our way back to Bacharach, we stopped in another city called Koblenz. There we had another delicious dinner, before heading back to the hotel. That brings us back to where we are now. Thank you for all your comments!
Love you,
Annie

  1. Hey Anne's
Sounds like you're having a great time. Thanks for the update. Is Airplane Mode not working for some reason? If not don't worry about it and just use internet cafe's when you can.
Would love to see some pictures.
    Have fun.
    Love Dad!
